At International Archives Week 2021, I presented the designs for the Milli platform- showing how W3C Web Annotation could layer community discovery, annotation, and re-narration onto archives, to 25-plus organisations across India.
The presentation was part of a workshop titled “Ways of Seeing: Archives and Annotations”, where we showed how the W3C Web Annotation standard could be used to layer community interpretations onto institutional archival records, enabling multiple narratives to coexist around the same materials.
